WELCOME TO WEBADVISOR FOR FACULTY

WebAdvisor is a secure site with access for current students and faculty. Through WebAdvisor faculty can view their class schedule with meeting information, view rosters, and submit grades.  Advisors can view advisees and their advisees’ profile and academic progress. Students can search for open classes, register on-line, view their schedule, make payments with a credit card and much more.

 

To log into WebAdvisor, use your Network/Email user name and password. 

 

Once you have entered the WebAdvisor site, you must click on the Log In tab and log in before you may access the faculty screens.  Unless you are logged in you will be considered a ‘guest’ with no access. Your user id and password are the same as your Network Account – be sure to enter your user name in lower case.

 

 

 

Choose Faculty to view the Faculty menu.

 

 

 

 

Information for Advisors

 

To get additional information about an advisee, click on My Advisees from the faculty menu. Choose a term and click on submit.

 

You will see a list of your advisees.  You can choose an Action using the drop down in the Action box next to the advisee’s name. You may view the student’s: Transcript, Schedule, Program Evaluation (degree audit), Test Summary, and Profile.  You may also register and drop courses for the student.

 

The link for Advisees will give you a list with general information about all advisees – you will not be able to drill down for more information.

 

Class Rosters

 

The Class Roster screen gives you the ability to view or print each of your class rosters for a particular term or date range.

 

 

Choose a term and click on submit.  Place a check mark next to the course you want to view and click on Submit. You may check only one class at a time. 

 

You will see a list of officially registered students.  To view a student’s profile, place a check mark on the student record and click submit.  If you have additional classes to view, use the back button.  Remember to uncheck the current box and check the next class you want to view.

 

Grading

 

Final grades are due 48 hours after the scheduled final examination. You will receive an email reminding you that final grades are due.

 

From the faculty screen choose ‘Final Grading.’ Choose a term and click Submit.  A list of your courses will be displayed.  Choose Final under the Final or Midterm/Intermediate Grading drop down.  Place a check mark next to the course you want to grade and click on submit.

 

 

Search for Sections

Using the Search for Sections options requires you to enter data into at least three (3) fields.  You must select a term from the drop-down box.

Search for Classes can be extremely helpful when advising students about course selection as it provides you with access real time data. When you are advising students about courses for the next semester you can see which sections are open or closed by look at the course status field.

My Class Schedule

 

The My Class Schedule option allows you to view or print your class schedule for a particular term or date range.

 

Student profile

The Student Profile screen gives you the ability to view the following data for any student: Address
Phone
Email
Major
Minor
Anticipated graduation date
Advisor

To view data on any student you are required to enter either the student's identification number or SSN.
